Saturday 3/9/24 Morning Surf Report
7:30 am: Early morning photos are up and posted and along with a great sunrise, you can see we have waves for your Saturday. Misty and a little foggy overall, with waves @ thigh to stomach high is the best guess as to how large they are, on this second look. It’s hard to tell without seeing a surfer on a wave. There could be some larger set waves than that as the wave height measurements on the buoy offshore are up in size, compared to yesterday.

Friday 3/8/24 Afternoon Surf Report
2:30 pm: New photos are up with the first 6 photos from mid morning and the rest from early this afternoon. There is some swell! Lines breaking outside with the wind light enough that the surface conditions are occasionally semi-glassy. Some set waves a little over waist high at times Lots of the waves smaller but overall there are some spread out groundswells to be had. The big backho type crane and dredge are slowly getting in place to pump sand. This will be worth paying attention too….

Friday 3/8/24 Morning Surf Report
7:40 am: Early morning photos are up and posted in and you can see we have small scale waves, but waves, for your for your Friday. There are some knee to maybe thigh high semi-glassy to semi-choppy waves with a line to it this morning. Mushy at the higher tide, but looks like some fun longboard waves to possibly ‘fishable’ waves as we head toward the weekend….

Thursday 3/7/24 Afternoon Surf Report
12:45 pm: New mid day photos are up and postedand you can see we have slightly smaller waves for your Thursday as we head into afternoon. The photos were taken at 10th Street and the wind has turned onshore. So a lite chop with the waves size around knee to thigh with some occasional larger set waves at times. The buoy offshore is slowly trending downward, but overall is ‘hanging in there‘, so we should have waves all the way up till dark tonight…

7:45 am: Early morning photos are up and posted in and you can see we have smaller waves for your Thursday. Glassy with knee to thigh high glassy waves. Possibly a few peaks bigger, we will see as the morning goes on. The offshore wind is keeping it clean. The wind may go onshore this afternoon so get it early for the best surf….

Wednesday 3/6/24 Afternoon Surf Report
1:00 pm: New mid day photos are up and posted in box #2 and you can see we have some lines on the outside sandbar with strong offshore winds blowing into the swell. Dean’s call for the size to hold is happening as swell is still fairly strong. The right sandbar may be quite fun, Be ready for ‘spray in your face’ as the wind is quite strong at times…

Wednesday 3/6/24 Morning Surf Report
Early morning photos are up and posted and you can see we have surf again today! Offshore winds with ‘spray in your face ‘ type waves, which can be super fun when that same wind opens up the tube! It may be a little bigger than the early morning call. The buoy is actually up from yesterday. Will the wind beat it smaller? Or will the swell hold? We will see. The good news is, it’s fairly clean, although a little windblown with the stiff and gusty offshore wind.

Tuesday 3/5/24 Afternoon Surf Report
12:30pm – It’s looking to be wasit to stomach high with chest high sets. The buoys 3ft at 10 seconds coming from the East. The wind is 3kts coming from the South East with 4kts gusts. The water temp is 62 with the outside temp at 66. High tide is at 3:35pm | Low tide was at 9:34am. Overall looks decent if you have nothing else to do.

Tuesday 3/5/24 Morning Surf Report
7:30 am: Early morning photos are up and you can see we have waves for your Tuesday. Not very big but not too small withe the wave size @ knee to thigh high, with some occasional larger set wave to around waist high at some spots at times. The surface conditions are semi-glassy to semi-choppy with the wind light sideonshore, and is forecast to roll more onshore as the day goes on.

Monday 3/4/24 Afternoon Surf Report
2:30 pm: New afternoon photos are up and you can see we have waves with some cross chop for your Monday afternoon. Some easily waist high waves on some of the sets as the buoy holds in size offshore. Misty and foggy still at the beach, but not as bad as early this morning, when we could not even see the waves. As long as the wind does not pick up too much, there should be decently ridable, even fun surf, at key spots this afternoon….

Monday 3/4/24 Morning Surf Report
7:30 am: There are only 5 early morning photos posted.. Why? Well, it so super foggy we cannot see the surf! So it’s super hard to tell the size… but based on the buoy readings and Dean’s surf forecast the waves are likely knee to thigh high with some slightly larger set waves to around the waist high range. The wiind is sideshore so likely not very clean under the fog. Hopefully the fog will lift by the time we do our next surf report update…..
