Here’s a piece of St. Augustine Florida surf history! Tom Maltby single fin collector board from Sun ‘n Surf Shop, St. Augustine Beach.
This board has subtle light sparkle coloring on the foam under the glassing with custom airbrush artwork on top by Pat Madden and a large retro Sun ‘n Surf logo on the bottom. It comes with the original vintage 8” fiberglass fin and leash eyelet thumbscrew!
This board appears to be a survivor with no repairs. The nose is in great shape and the tail good. There is a rail fracture on the right with light discoloration on the bottom, but it looks to be a glass surface crack only. There are some expected pressure marks, but they hide well under the polished finish.
The board is marked “EC 050681 - PTL” and is approximately 6’8 x 21.25 x 2.5
