    Monday, April 8

    Reporter:  T. Strange
    Surf Report comments:
7:30 am:   Small waves again as we start out the work week.   Wave size 1 to occasionally 1.5 feet.   The surface conditions are semi-choppy.   The wind is E @ 8-10 knots with the marine forecast calling for the wind to be E to 5-10 knots.   Checking out local buoy the early wave height measurement is 2.3 feet at 14 seconds changed from yesterdays 3.0 feet at between 8 and 14 seconds. See the water temperature of 66.6 degrees at The Pier this morning. And you can see the ocean live by viewing The Surf Station Cam Page here.

8:00 am:  Early morning photos are up and you can see we have choppy knee high to knee high plus waves for your Monday.    Small overall, with maybe a thigh high bumpy peak and an occasional inside clean face.   Based on the buoy readings offshore, we should have continued surf… at about the same size, throughout the day today….
