7:05 am: The waves look a little smaller than yesterday at daybreak. Semi-choppy surf early, with the wave size @ thigh to rib high, occasional a little larger to around chest high on some set waves. Our local buoy the early wave height reading is 3.6 feet at 13 seconds, down in size from yesterdays 5.2 feet at 11 seconds. The marine forecast is calling for SW winds today.
