This board has more nose area forward due to the wide point moved up to center. It’s meant to be ridden shorter by 3"- 5" inches & 3/4" to 1" inch wider. The "Ballistic" has an extremely deep single concave and a wider tail block for increased lift and plaining area to get you over those flat spots. But with the shorter rail length it fits in the pocket much better than a normal shorty. The ballistic excels in small to medium surf, fast, responsive and radical. Go absolutely ballistic on this super high performance shorter board!. Little chip in the nose.
Picking out a surfboard can a difficult task whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or expert surfer.
