In 1984 Tory Strange opened the world’s first “Gas Station Surf Shop” in the nations oldest city – St. Augustine, Florida. This surf shop was different from any other in that not only did is sell surf supplies, but also Amoco gasoline. In 1994, surf sales were booming so Tory decided to quit selling gasoline and concentrate on his first love – SURFING. Tory teamed with legendary surfboard maker Al Merrick to create the “Channel Islands Surfboards East Coast Warehouse.” Surf Station Surf Shop has one of the largest selections of Channel Islands Surfboard models and surf goods in the world! We strive to accommodate every surfer at every skill level. We stock over 1,000 surfboards in our store and online to equip every surfer with the best board for their needs. The Surf Station even has its own signature Surf Station brand of surfboards.We cater to every level of surfer from beginner to expert. We have all the surf gear you could ever need. Everything from wax to wetsuits. All of the products in our surf shop are available for purchase in our online store! Listening to the advice of “Do what you love and you will never have to work a day in our life” Tory has followed his childhood surfing passion and now works in surfing via his surf shop and surf reports.
